Kids Birthday Cakes - Homemade and Easy To Make!

Children's birthdays are something very magical. Some parents like to take their kids to an out-of-town pizza place and leave the entertaining, preparing and putting away to someone else. But what could be better than celebrating a birthday party at home with a homemade cake? Cakes can be the most memorable part of a birthday party. Forgo all the gifts and give them a unique, personalized birthday cake that will be one of a kind. That's why it's important to think about the cake.

Don't worry too much about buying a cake. The ready-made cake mixes I always use are really good. And for me, the taste is not as important as its packaging. Familiar characters for children can be a source of inspiration. If that doesn't work, ask your child what they would like and you can be sure they will choose the theme they want.

Space themes are very popular right now. Space themed cakes like "Monsters vs. Aliens" or "Planet 51" are sure to be a hit with kids. SpongeBob SquarePants is a very popular character that many children love. Some parents may find him annoying, but they have to admit that he is popular and a lot of fun. For girls, a cake in the shape of Barbie is a must. I also think a Barbie theme would be especially fun to host a tea party with miniature princesses throughout the house. Dress them all in their best fluffy clothes and give them elbow-length gloves. It would be nice to have a tea set on the cake.

Another idea for a cupcake themed party is a cupcake party. Cupcakes can be decorated in many ways. You can even have your guests decorate their own cupcakes. From sports to video games to your kids' favorite hobbies, cupcakes lend themselves wonderfully to imagination, decoration and fun. And to get your salivary glands and creative juices going, here's a heretofore secret cake recipe that my family loves. It's an almond macaroon cake in a kugelhopf format, which can be lined and baked in a 9x13 pan. Even my daughter, who doesn't like cake, begs me to make this cake. You should definitely try it once.

Poppy seed filled almond cake

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Whip the sour cream.

2/3 tablespoons of vegetable oil

1 teaspoon of sugar.

Add.

2 large eggs

3 teaspoons of almond flavouring

2-3 teaspoons of poppy seeds

1 bag of vanilla pudding (the recipe says a small bag, but I use a large bag)

Milk . .1.5-1.4 c.

Mix dry ingredients and sift together.

Flour - 2 ¼ teaspoons.

Salt - ½ teaspoon.

Baking powder - 3 teaspoons.

Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. If the dough seems too stiff, add a little more milk.

Grease a non-stick coated baking dish (9 x 13 for Bandol, 2x) with non-stick spray. Be careful not to grease it, or the batter will stick. Pour the dough into the pan and flatten it so that it rises and sinks. Bake in the oven at half height for 55 minutes to 1 hour (a little longer for 9×13 pans). Let cool before removing from the pan.
