Tips and Tricks for Baking Bread

These baking tips will make it easier and more comfortable for you to enjoy baking.

1. Read the entire recipe first to avoid surprises.

2. Gather all the ingredients you need to bake. Do you have all the ingredients you need? Are they fresh? If not, run to the supermarket.

3. Prepare the right size frying pan. Prepare the pan and set it aside.

4. About 20 minutes before you start preparing the eggs. Let the mixture reach room temperature.

5. Arrange bowls, measuring utensils, blender and other items to be used so they are quickly at hand if needed. It can be very frustrating to put ingredients in a bowl or pan and not find the vanilla or suddenly remember that you forgot the nuts. You don't want to stop what you're doing. So keep everything on hand.

6. Weigh all the ingredients. This way, when you prepare the ingredients, you won't get the quantities wrong or remove the wrong ingredients. The goal is to get a product that tastes good.

7. Preheat the oven to the temperature indicated in the recipe.

8. Important tip: I stick a ruler on the recipe so that I can mark it precisely at any time. This way I can avoid any steps that could affect the finished product.

9. Be careful not to mix the ingredients or not mix them enough. Set a timer on your rice cooker or microwave to set the time it takes to beat the ingredients. It's always better than guessing.

10. Don't fill the pan completely. Keep in mind that the dough may puff up and spill over the edges. I suggest only filling it two-thirds full.

11. If several baking sheets are in the oven at the same time, make sure they are not touching. It is important not to stack them on top of each other to ensure even baking.

12. Do not open the oven door during baking unless the recipe calls for turning the tray halfway through the baking process or unless absolutely necessary.

13. Baking time is very important. Baking time is a matter of taste. But you don't want to overcook them either. I always set a timer and check the cooking time 5-7 minutes before cooking. Also make sure they look cooked.

14. Always make sure the baked goods are cold before serving, unless the recipe says "serve warm".

We hope these tips have helped you feel more confident and relaxed when baking.
